Client portal for construction firms and tradespeople
Project owners want to see where their build stands without calling: progress, photos, documents, payment calls. The portal shows them their project — and only theirs — while your team stays in the field.
In your day-to-day
- 01
Progress tracking per project with milestones and photos, updated from the field.
- 02
Quotes, variation orders, insurance certificates and handover reports downloadable by the client at any time.
- 03
Approval of variation orders and material choices in the portal, dated and traced — no more “I never approved that”.
How it works
- 1
Plugged into your tools, not a second entry
The portal reads live from your project-management tool, your CRM, your invoicing. Your team works as before; the client sees their slice, always current.
- 2
Approval built in
The client approves deliverables directly in the portal — an entire email thread disappears per revision round. Every approval is dated and traced.
- 3
Access walled by construction
Each client account reaches only its own projects and documents — never a neighbour’s. Minimal rights, every view logged: compliant by design, not by patch.

Frequently asked questions
Can a client see other projects or our margins?+
No: each account reaches only its own project and documents, and the portal never exposes your internal data — costs, margins, subcontractors. It is a chosen shopfront, not your management software thrown open.
Does it also work when an architect or project manager sits in the middle?+
Yes: access is configured per role — the project manager sees what falls under their mission, the owner their progress and documents. The portal complements existing approval circuits; it does not replace them.
Will my clients actually use it?+
Yes — if the portal answers the question they already ask by email. That is why we start with the one screen that would delete the most emails this month, put it in a few clients’ hands, and only widen on observed usage.
How is this different from giving clients access to my project tool?+
Your internal tool shows everything: internal notes, margins, other clients. The portal exposes a chosen slice, mostly read-only, dressed for someone who is not your employee. It is the difference between opening your office and opening a waiting room.
